  • A strong Hand blender with a metal foot and a little mill is a good start when you don’t have a blender or a food processor. Use it to puree soups, make smoothies, hummus and energy balls in small batches. I’ve had one myself for at least a decade and it’s still performing perfectly.
  • I love my Cuisinart Spice Grinder . I use it to grind linseed, make gomasio, make freshly ground coriander, cumin, cinnamon, fennel seeds, ccf tea, nuts etc. Freshly ground spices make such a difference in taste!
  • A Slow Cooker is very handy if you want to make sure you have a meal ready when you come home after work. Especially great for soups and stews.
  • I love my Instant Pot! I use it a lot for batch cooking grains and beans and every week for making yoghurt. It’s basically a slow cooker, pressure cooker, steamer and yoghurt maker in one.
